Finds and labels the x- and y-intercepts of every visible equation or points curve, only where they fall inside the window. Exact mode recognises fractions, multiples of π and surds, e.g. (1 + √5)/2.

Intersections0

Marks and labels every point of intersection between the two chosen curves that falls inside the window. Uses the Intercepts value format (exact / decimal).

Asymptotes0

Dashed vertical or horizontal lines with an automatic x = a / y = b label (or your own). Oblique asymptotes: add a dashed equation curve instead.

Tangent lines0

Draws the tangent to a curve at x₀ (gradient found numerically), full width of the window.

Guide lines0

Dashed construction lines from a point to the axes. Snap to a curve to compute y from its equation.

Shaded areas0

Shades a region over an x-interval: between a curve and the x axis, above or below a curve, or between two curves.

Equation syntax

x^2 - 4	implicit multiplication works: `2x`, `(x-1)(x+3)`
\frac{1}{2}x^2, \sqrt{x+1}	LaTeX (Desmos-style) accepted too: \sin, \pi, e^{2x}, \|x\|, \sqrt[3]{x}
1/(x-2) + 3	discontinuities break automatically — add asymptotes from their section
sin(2x), e^x, ln(x)	also cos tan asin acos atan sqrt abs log (base 10)
pi, e	constants (trig in radians) — π numbering is in Grid & numbering
(0,0), (2,5), (7,-10)	Points-list curves: straight segments joining the points in order
